**Packers QB Jordan Love Injured in Closing Seconds of Loss to Eagles in Brazil**

*Updated 11:32 AM GMT+6, September 7, 2024*

**SAO PAULO (AP)** — The Green Bay Packers might have lost more than just a game in their season opener.

Quarterback Jordan Love limped off the field with assistance after suffering an injury in the final seconds of the Packers' 34-29 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday night. Head coach Matt LaFleur did not provide an update on Love’s condition after the game.

“We know what kind of guy he is, how he approaches everything,” said wide receiver Christian Watson. “Whatever it is, I know he’s going to get through it. We’re going to get through it.”

The injury occurred moments after Love completed a 33-yard pass to Jayden Reed, moving the Packers near midfield. On the following play, Love was under heavy pressure from Jalen Carter and Josh Sweat while attempting a backward pass to Josh Jacobs.

Carter, who was on the ground, grabbed Love’s left leg as Sweat pushed the quarterback to the turf.

The Packers now anxiously await further updates on the extent of Love’s injury.
